Cloud Migration is a Program, Not a Project
Organizations often underestimate the complexity of cloud migration because the visible part — moving servers — is straightforward. The invisible part — dependency mapping, data integrity validation, application reconfiguration, network cutover, rollback planning — is where migrations fail.
We approach cloud migration as a structured program with defined phases, gates, and exit criteria. Nothing moves to production until it has been validated in a non-production environment that mirrors the migration path. Every cutover has a rollback plan. Every database migration includes data integrity verification.
Migration Strategies We Support
Lift-and-Shift (Rehost)
Move workloads to GCP with minimal changes — fastest path to cloud, lowest initial risk. Appropriate for workloads where cloud-native optimization is not the immediate priority.
Re-platform
Move to GCP while making targeted optimizations — for example, migrating a self-managed database to Cloud SQL, or moving a containerized application to Cloud Run instead of provisioning new VMs.
Re-architect
Redesign the application to take full advantage of GCP's managed services and cloud-native patterns. More work upfront, but delivers the largest long-term operational and cost benefits.
What We Deliver in a Migration Engagement
Migration readiness assessment, application and dependency inventory, migration sequence plan, non-production environment setup and validation, data migration using GCP's Database Migration Service or custom pipelines, cutover procedure documentation, post-migration validation testing, and a stabilization period with support before formal handover.
